A resident of the Columbine area in south-metro Denver, since moving here from Nebraska in 1965, with wife Marge and four children, to work as a computer systems analyst for Martin Marietta. Mr. McGuire became a Realtor in 1973 and within a short period of time was heavily involved in the Realtor organization. That organization is very appealing and led to election as the president of the South Suburban Board of Realtors; Director and Treasurer of the Colorado Association of Realtors; and Director/Committee Chair of the National Association of Realtors. In 1987, he was chosen as the inaugural recipient of the William M. Moore award at Moore and Company, prior to being named manager of the Littleton office. In 1996, Mr. McGuire was selected by the state association as the Colorado Realtor of the Year. During these years, the main goal was support and development of the four children, all of whom have graduated from college and moved on in establishment of their own careers. Mr. McGuire has always been among the top producers in the brokerage firms of his choice, having begun with Ridgewood Realty, then most of his career with Moore and Company, and finally with ReMax Professionals. His main interest is in working with property sellers, however that relationship often leads to working with clients that must find a new home. A few final points of interest are: Jerry is the youngest of a large family that grew up on a farm in northeast Nebraska; He is a graduate of Creighton University; he is an ex-dive-bomber pilot with the Marine Corps; and is active in his church, St. Frances Cabrini, where he sings bass in a magnificent choir.
